MySwimLook is a swimwear magazine published by Filippo Chiusano, a private individual based in Italy (Strada del Nobile 21, 10131 Torino; info@myswimlook.com). By using the site you accept these terms. How we handle personal data and cookies is explained in the privacy policy and the cookie policy.

What MySwimLook is

MySwimLook publishes stories, guides and selections of swimwear to inform and inspire. They are editorial content, not professional advice: for size and fit, the brand’s own size guide is what counts. We check our facts carefully, but mistakes can happen. If you find one, tell us and we will correct it.

Brands, shops and prices

We do not sell anything, and we have no direct commercial relationship with any brand. A brand may point us to its collection, or ask us to cover it in a dedicated story, often an interview. We never ask for or accept payment for this, and we alone decide whether and what to write.

Our only income is the commission we may earn through Skimlinks when you buy after clicking one of our links. How we choose products and how the links work is explained in How we choose, and how we earn.

We try to keep the prices we show up to date, but prices, sizes and availability change. The price that applies is always the one on the shop’s website when you buy.

When you buy through one of our links, the purchase is a contract between you and the shop alone. The shop is responsible for the product, payment, delivery, returns and warranty. We are not responsible in any way for purchases made on brands’ or shops’ websites: questions and complaints about an order go to the shop.

Links to other websites

Our stories link to shops, brands, social networks and other websites. We choose those links with care, but we do not control those websites and are not responsible for their content, their offers or how they handle your data.

Our content

The texts, the selections and the design of MySwimLook belong to us. You are welcome to quote a short passage, as long as you name MySwimLook and link to the story. Republishing a whole story, or large parts of it, needs our written permission.

Photos belong to the people and brands credited next to them. If a photo is yours and you want the credit changed or the photo removed, write to us and we will act promptly.

What you send us

When you send us a pitch, photos or other material, it remains yours. We do not publish anything you send without your agreement, and when we commission work we agree the fee before anyone starts, as explained on Work with us. We may already be working on ideas similar to yours, so please do not send anything confidential. What we do with your message and your contact details is explained in the privacy policy.

Using the site fairly

Please do not try to damage, overload or break into the site, get around its spam protection, or use its forms to send spam or unlawful content.

Our responsibility

We provide MySwimLook as it is and cannot promise that it will always be available or free of errors. As far as the law allows, we are not responsible for losses that come from using the site, from relying on its content, or from dealings with the shops and websites it links to. Nothing in these terms limits our responsibility for wilful misconduct or gross negligence, or takes away rights that consumers have by law.

Changes

We may update these terms; the date at the top shows the latest version. We may also change the site or stop publishing it.

Applicable law

These terms are governed by Italian law. If you use the site as a consumer in the European Union, you also keep the protection of the mandatory laws of the country where you live, and you can bring a claim before its courts.
