Accessibility
We want every reader to be able to use MySwimLook — with a keyboard, a screen reader, zoomed in or with strong contrast.
Our goal
We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA. No law requires it of a magazine our size; we do it because a swimwear magazine for every body should be readable by everybody.
What we have done
- Every page works with a keyboard, starts with a “Skip to content” link and shows where the focus is.
- Headings, landmarks and labels tell screen readers how each page is organised; photos have text descriptions.
- Text and controls meet WCAG contrast ratios, and pages reflow on small screens and at 400% zoom.
- Videos have a name, and captions where someone speaks.
- Every page is checked automatically before it is published.
What is not perfect yet
- The cookie banner (CookieHub), YouTube videos and the human check on our contact form (Cloudflare Turnstile) come from those companies; we choose accessible settings, but their insides are theirs.
Tell us
If something on MySwimLook is hard to use, write to info@myswimlook.com or use our contact form. Tell us the page and what went wrong: we read every message, and we will fix the problem or send you the content in another way.
